Cremation and Trade Services

Many people who consider cremation are concerned that they might not receive all of the "ashes" or cremains of their loved one. A second concern is that the body will not be treated in a respectful manner.

Our experience with local cremation services is that each and everyone of them treat the body with the utmost respect and that they make every effort to return the majority of cremains to the family.

What sets Cremation and Trade Services apart for our organization, is the personal care by the owner, licensed funeral director. Paul has been a great asset to our firm by his timely cremations and the respect with which he cares for the deceased.

Although Paul, like most other funeral directors, doesn't fully understand the "why" of our reduced prices, he respects them. Additionally, he has allowed us to use his refrigeration when there is going to be a long gap between the preparation of the body and the funeral/burial.

Prices through Cremation and Trade Services are well within affordability for our families. The cremated remains are respectfully placed in a heavy plastic bag and the into a box. If a family has an urn they want used, either Paul or Claudia will place the cremains directly into the urn before turning them over to the family.

Brown Wilbert Burial Vaults

Most cemeteries today, require a grave liner (burial vault) into which the casket is placed at the time of interment (burial). Brown Willbert is a Saint Paul, MN company with a long history of service to families and funeral homes both in Minnesota and several other states.

It is rare that any of our families desire anything other than the most simple concrete grave liner. The purpose of the grave liner/vault is to stabilize the ground around and over the grave. More expensive vaults do nothing more than this simple grave liner pictured above.

The company also supplies our infant caskets which are made to double as grave liners. A sealing gel is applied to the the casket lid just before closing the unit.

Additionally, Brown Wilbert offers a variety of urns for cremated remains as well as cremation vaults.

Most recently, Brown Wilbert has begun to  offer a moderate selection of metal caskets. This addition has been wonderful for our families depending upon county burial funding since the price easily fits into the alloted reimbursement.
